Easier

So, one of my favorite topics is "things that make my life easier."  As anyone can attest - it's the little things that make my day go better.  It's not about being a working mom or a stay at home mom - it's about being a mom who'd rather spend time with the kiddos than cleaning, cooking, choring around the house.

I thought I'd start a list here to share some of my current favorite items...feel free to comment and add anything you've used/seen/wished for recently!

1.  Up & Up Target Baby food - new squeeze pouches!  They are like these, but less expensive.
I love that they disguise veggies with fruit.  Also, Mickey has been traveling for work this week.  When we get home from daycare in the evenings, I really like to take a moment and change out of my work clothes before I dive into making dinner.  Both E and H think it's very cool they get to eat these by themselves.  Henry is anti-mama-assisted-feeding these days, so this is a sneaky way to get him more food.  And since they both think they're cool and yummy, it gets a little something in their tummies while mama gets comfy.  Love!

2.  Just found these wipes thanks to a friend who is very diligent about safe non-toxic cleaning/household stuff.  I would like to be more diligent about this, especially now that Henry has confirmed allergies and eczema.  I was using the Kirkland Household wipes, but they are uber chemically.  I saw Clorox had come out with a "green" wipe, but don't really buy that a bleach company is going to make something non-bleachy.  So these have rocked my world!
The best part of these is that they actually clean surfaces and don't leave them sticky!  I know, I'm easily impressed...or I guess more accurately, simply impressed.  What a simple concept:  something that cleans well and doesn't leave a residue.  Woohoo!  The one caveat with this company is that you do have to sign up to be a customer to receive their discounted price.  I was a little gun-shy on that concept, but can say I've been doing it now for a few months and it's worked out very well.  Less trips to Costco and Target!

3.  And last, but not least, this app is SO awesome for running with my phone!

I tried it out yesterday for the first time and am very impressed.  In the "saving-time" corner, it syncs with my Daily Mile account!  So my running buddies, if I'm not running with them, can see my activities easily and I don't have to enter the activity twice!  Woohoo, again!

Well, that's it for the moment.  I would also like to make sure to point out, I am in no way being compensated for these reviewes...though, heck, I'd be open to it!  :)  This week has been a bit trying with the husband out of town, working full time and two kiddos' needs to contend with!  If anything I share here helps you out?  Mission accomplished.
